Stone Fox

Im not married and I am not sure I'd want to be. I am pretty happy with things how they are but this keeps popping up on my radar and I like its slant on things. They seem to have a good ethos and a great name too.

Here is a new pattern I am working on at the moment for a new idea in the works.

Jealous much?

I am having a run of bad luck with blogs I love reading suddenly stopping posting. However one of my favourites is eternally reliable and I check it every morning and get a little inspired and a little jealous  in just the right way.

Autumn

It feels all wintry all of a sudden here. Today we didn't have kinder which meant no studio time for me which was fine as I got lots done yesterday. We went on a city adventure on the tram and then walked to the Botanic gardens and went acorn hunting and Autumn leaf collecting. We went to the hot house and looked for the giant corpse flower that bloomed earlier this year and at the insect eating pitcher plants and the different shaped and colours of the leaves. It was great. When we got home we stapled all our oak leaves to a piece of string and hung them in the boys room so we can watch the green leaves change colour and talk some more about the seasons.

Dollhouse

Our neighbours were giving away this doll house so we dragged it home and have just spent a rainy day painting and decorating it together. It was so much fun. My mum made me a doll house when I was little filled with 70's wall paper and even an elevator she designed that was held up with magnets. She was very clever. I used beautiful fabric scraps of hers to make the curtains rugs and bedding with the boys, they chose each one to match the colour of the room. It made me feel so happy. Next we are going to each make a doll of our selves to live there.

Found

I found this link from a blog I like called Wolf Eyebrows, to a tumbler site  called Found which is a curated selection of images from the National Geographic archives. It is so odd and funny and inspiring and just the ticket after we had a wild ride on our week long camping adventure with three children so sick with Gastro, my goodness I think these three photos sum it all up.
